  Just moved here in august and was and am looking for a family dr to write all my scripts instead of going to a family dr and pain clinic Every month. So i went to see several drs in the area and one dr wrote me suboxone which is way too much and when I called him back and ask him to change the medicine he refused. So I dropped him. I have seen a neurologist and a neurosurgeon as well and seeing my previous pain doctor that's 3 hours away. my regular pain doctor wrote my scripts I trashed the Suboxone and ask my neurosurgeon to write my Percocet and he did. So I see doctor lamberson. Nice guy, nice staff, but doubt ill go again because from the time he walked in the room I could tell he was looking at me like an addict. And when I told him why I wasn't there he started questioning my prescriptions. He pulled off the printer of all my previous prescriptions I've had filled and said I've seen too many doctors. Even though he saw I only use two doctors in the past 4 years he only paid attention two the few doctors I've seen since moving here. I told him that I was trying to find one doctor to write all my prescriptions and that's why there's several doctors write my prescriptions lately. so I left there with no prescriptions and now the search continues for a doctor as caring as my other doctor was before moving here. I know it looks like I'm Doctor shopping and I guess I am still looking for not only a pain doctor but a family doctor.

  Dr. Randy Lamberson has a very pleasant personality, and his staff is also friendly. However, when it comes to healthcare there are two types of doctors: those who do sufficient research to determine an actual diagnosis and treat it, and those who seek to quickly see as many patients as possible (quickly prescribe and get them out the door to see more patients). Dr. Lamberson is the latter. I have had a serious sinus infection since Thanksgiving (it is now mid-February), and I saw Dr. Lamberson twice in December when. On both occasions I given a blood pressure reading, asked what my symptoms were, and written a quick prescription and sent on my way. In both occasions I the antibiotics I was given did not fully remedy my symptoms, and they remain persistent. In neither of these occasions did Dr. Lamberson take a culture for testing, take any blood work, or perform any basic medical analysis to see what was happening (I can understand this on my first visit, but on the second visit after the first round of antibiotics didn’t work this is just laziness). I have recently been seeing an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist who has me on some strong antibiotics that are working work, as well as performing a CAT scan (to see if something more severe requiring surgery may be the underlying cause) and taking a culture sample for testing. I took the list of antibiotics Dr. Lamberson prescribed me to the ENT and his response was (and this is a direct quote), “I wouldn’t prescribe these to my dog!” Again, a nice guy in terms of personality, but a poor quality healthcare provider.
